Four people, including one child, were injured after a multi-vehicle crash in North Austin on Monday night, January 17, 2022.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the accident happened just before 10:00 p.m. in the 700 block of E. Anderson Lane eastbound service road.
Two people were pinned following the collision. One child was taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries. According to ATCEMS, the child was possibly ejected from the vehicle during the collision.
An adult was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
By 10:30 p.m., the pinned passengers, an adult, and a teenager had been freed. The adult refused treatment and was taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center with serious injuries.
Four ambulances, as well as Austin Fire Department and Austin Police Department crews, were on the scene.
At this time, there is no other information available.
Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
