Two people identified as 40-year-old Jeannie C. and 21-year-old Mia H. were killed in a fatal DUI accident in Ector County on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
The fatal crash occurred on a Saturday at Farm Market 3472.
Corralez and the driver of a 2017 Dodge Charger, 39-year-old Enrique E., were traveling westbound on FM 3472, while Hermosillo, driving a 2014 Dodge Charger, was traveling eastbound on FM 3472, according to the preliminary investigation.
Enriquez eventually crossed into the eastbound territory and collided with Hermosillo’s vehicle in the front.
Enriquez was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Medical Examiner Bodwell pronounced Hermosillo and Corralez dead.
The Texas Department of Public Safety claims that evidence of Enriquez’s intoxication was discovered. He has now been charged with manslaughter due to intoxication.
The crash remains under investigation.
