A fatal two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a 21-year-old man in Cooke County on Monday, January 31, 2022.
The collision occurred just after 4 a.m. north of Muenster.
Christopher K., of Muenster, was driving eastbound on County Road 426 when he collided with a juvenile driving westbound.
According to troopers, the cause of the crash is still under investigation, but both vehicles collided near the center of the road, and Kresge’s vehicle caught fire.
The 21-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene
The adolescent sustained serious injuries and was taken to Medical City Plano.
There are no other details available.
Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
