According to the Amarillo Fire Department, two people died in a trailer house fire in Amarillo on Monday morning, January 31, 2022.
Crews were dispatched at 7:41 a.m. to a structure fire in the 2400 block of Brixton, according to AFD.
According to the department, crews arrived four minutes later to find a trailer house fully engulfed and spreading to the trailers on the north and south sides of the home.
According to the AFD, crews stopped the fire from spreading and had it under control by 8:20 a.m.
Two people were found dead inside the house, according to the AFD. The incident is being investigated by the Fire Marshall’s Office and the Amarillo Police Department.
