An 18-year-old high school student from Montgomery’s Lake Creek High School was injured after fleeing from the police on his motorcycle on Monday, February 7, 2022.
The two-vehicle crash happened on a Monday afternoon in the area of Rabon Chapel on Capitol Hill.
The teen was driving east on FM 2854 to the West Loop 336, then north on SH 105 to the HEB.
He then made a U-turn and returned southbound to FM 2854. He returned west on FM 2854 to McCaleb Road, trailed by Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constables.
He then proceeded to Rabon Chapel on Capitol Hill to the west.
He didn’t see the Precinct 5 Patrol unit when he turned on Rabon Chapel.
The fleeing driver lost control of the bike as he accelerated, and it crashed into the Precinct 5 Patrol unit.
With a broken leg, the teen was taken to the hospital. He is suspected to be the same driver who has eluded the cops on several occasions.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Precinct 2 Constables assisted Precinct 5.
