[02-08-2022] Floyd County, TX – Pickup Truck Driver Killed in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Lockney

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, one person died in a two-vehicle crash in Lockney on Tuesday afternoon, February 8, 2022.

The fatal collision occurred around 3:10 p.m. at the intersection of US Highway 70 and Farm-to-Market Road 378.

According to the DPS, a pickup truck traveling south on FM 378 collided with a semi-truck traveling east on US 70.

The pickup truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident caused traffic to be rerouted around it.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
