According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a man identified as Dickie J. died in a fatal two-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 South Service Road on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
The collision occurred on a Tuesday afternoon 3 miles east of Big Spring.
The victim was driving eastbound on the IH 20 south service road when he collided with another vehicle traveling westbound on the wrong side of the road.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was treated at Scenic Medical Center before being released.
The crash remains under investigation.
