According to the Lubbock Police Department, an 8-year-old boy was seriously injured in a pedestrian crash on 37th Street Thursday evening, May 12, 2022.
LPD said the crash transpired at 7:50 p.m. in the 4000 block of 37th Street.
According to LPD, the 8-year-old was crossing 37th Street on a scooter when he was struck by a GMC Sierra traveling westbound on 37th Street.
The 8-year-old was taken by ambulance to Covenant Medical Center with serious injuries.
The victim, Ethan P., remained in critical condition Tuesday from his injuries after a pedestrian accident.
The crash is still under investigation.
