The Austin Police said a two-vehicle crash between a van and a truck led to the death of an unidentified pedestrian man in Rundberg Lane Wednesday morning, May 18, 2022.
The police said the fatal collision occurred at around 3:10 a.m. the van was heading north on Lamar Boulevard, and the truck was going west on Rundberg Lane.
According to police, the crash pushed the van into a person standing at a nearby bus stop.
The Austin-Travis County EMS said a second patient was found, but they refused treatment and transport to the hospital.
Both drivers stayed on the scene, but it’s not clear if they will face charges at this time.
The collision is still under investigation.
