A 27-Year-Old Terrell man was killed in a multi-vehicle major crash in Rockwall on Tuesday afternoon, May 24, 2022

The Rockwall Police Department responded to reports of a major crash of a fatal multi-vehicle collision that occurred just after 5:00 p.m. on State Highway (SH) 276 east of Rochelle Road.

When deputies from the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene, they discovered one of the drivers had died.

An 18-wheeler towing a trailer, a sport utility vehicle, and a passenger car were involved in the crash, according to the Rockwall Police Department.

One patient from the SUV was flown to a local hospital by air ambulance, while the 18-wheeler driver was transported by ground ambulance for minor injuries.

The passenger car’s driver, 27-year-old Grayson D. of Terrell, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Rockwall Police Department’s Traffic Division.
