According to DPS, two people have died after a head-on two-vehicle crash near Whitesboro Thursday afternoon, June 9, 2022.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said the crash transpired at approximately 12:47 p.m. on US-377 north of Chisum Trail Road.
According to the DPS, Reginaldo R., 39, of Gainesville, was driving southbound on US-377 when he crossed into the northbound lane and collided head-on with Steven M., 39, of Anna.
At approximately 12:52 p.m., Judge Damon Vannoy pronounced both drivers dead at the scene.
Juan V., 36, of Whitewright, was flown to Medical City Denton with critical injuries after being a passenger in Mounger’s car.
The crash’s cause is still being investigated, according to DPS.
