According to DPS, a Falfurrias man is dead after a two-vehicle crash on Business 281 in Jim Wells County Friday morning, June 10, 2022
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the crash transpired at 7:09 a.m. northbound on Business 281 near Mile Post 676.
The white Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling northbound on Business 281 when the driver made a U-turn to travel southbound near milepost 676 and collided with a motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver was ejected and sustained significant injuries. He was airlifted to a Corpus Christi hospital, where he died of his injuries.
The motorcyclist was identified as 39-year-old Anthony R.
The Tahoe was occupied by a female driver whose identity was not released.
It’s not clear if the driver will face charges.
DPS troopers are further investigating the crash.
