[06-11-2022] Bexar County, TX – 39-Year-Old Pedestrian Woman and Other Three Injured by Semi Truck Crash in San Antonio

According to police, a semi-truck crashed into a hotel pool after striking a car and injuring three people in San Antonio early Saturday morning, June 11, 2022.

The San Antonio Police Department said the crash occurred around 3:00 a.m. in the 6300 block of IH-35 North on the city’s Northeast Side.

Both vehicles were thrown off the road, striking a 39-year-old woman who was walking down the sidewalk.

The vehicles then collided with a wooden utility pole and slammed into the Hallmark Hotel’s concrete wall, causing minor damage to the first-floor windows.

According to police, the sedan was wedged between the 18-wheeler and the concrete wall.

Before crashing into an empty swimming pool at the hotel, the semi-truck continued forward with the cab of the vehicle.

The cause of the collision is still being investigated.
