According to the authorities, a late-night crash killed a pedestrian on the 8000 block of I-35 Thursday, June 30, 2022.
According to the police, the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. near the Zarzamora exit on the south side.
The man, who was 50 years old, was reportedly attempting to cross the highway when he was struck by a van and injured.
That driver came to a stop immediately after the collision, and he or she called the police to report it.
The highway was completely blocked off, so no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
It has not been determined who the victim is at this time.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
