According to investigators, an 11-year-old pedestrian named Azyrria Murphy-Jones was killed after being struck by an unknown vehicle between Friday night and Saturday morning, July 08 or July 09, 2022.
Investigators believe the boy was walking along the 200 block of FM-1696 when she was struck and killed by an unknown vehicle. The driver sped away from the scene.
The Texas Department of Public Safety has requested assistance investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident two miles outside Huntsville.
