A 64-year-old man identified as Michael C. was killed in a motorcycle accident at State Highway 24 on Saturday, November 20, 2021.
The crash transpired at approximately 2:05 p.m. at State highway 24 about 2.6 miles northeast Campbell.
Initial reports show on State Highway 24, a Harley-Davidson was traveling north, and a Chevy Silverado was traveling east on F.M. 499.
As a result, the motorcyclist struck the passenger side of the Chevy pick-up because the car driver failed to yield the right-of-way.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the pick-up truck driver was reportedly uninjured.
The Chevy driver was identified as 41-year-old Philip H. and was charged with Failed to Yield.
The crash remains under investigation.
