One 19-year-old woman identified as Abigail Z. lost her life in a tragic two-vehicle wreck on U.S. 183 on Monday, November 22, 2021.
The accident happened at 5:49 p.m. one mile north of Gonzales on U.S. Highway 183.
Initial reports reveal that the 19-year-old victim crashed into a Ford F-350 when she crossed the southbound lane and entered the northbound lane.
The officials pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The identity of the other car driver has yet to be disclosed.
Local authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
