One man selling flowers in North Harris County was tragically killed as a result of a two-vehicle crash on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
The collision transpired at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the 8900 block of Airline Drive near West Gulf Bank.
Investigators said two cars collided, and then one struck the victim, who was standing on the median separating northbound and southbound lanes of Airline Drive.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was immediately rushed to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
One of the car drivers stayed at the scene, however, the other driver fled. Deputies stated off-duty officers eventually arrested him.
