Three unidentified people lost their lives following a two-vehicle collision in El Paso’s Lower Valley on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
The fatal accident happened around 1:45 p.m. on North Loop Drive and Lee Trevino Drive.
Initial reports reveal that a semi-truck and an SUV were involved in the crash. Local authorities arrived at the scene of the accident at about 2:30 p.m.
The truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries while three people in the SUV were killed in the crash as confirmed by authorities.
Three of the deceased were extricated from the SUV using the ‘jaws of life,’ whereas the third victim was found outside the vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.
