One unidentified person was gravely injured following a pedestrian crash accident in south Austin on Saturday, December 4, 2021.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of West William Cannon Dr. and Cooper Ln., close to South 1st Street.
According to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, one pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and was in critical condition the night the ATCEMS arrived at the scene of the accident.
The identities of the victim and the driver have yet to be disclosed. There is no information yet on whether the driver involved remained at the scene after the accident.
Local authorities are still investigating the accident.
