One 28-year-old motorcyclist identified as Ernesto M. of Lufkin was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Hudson on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
The crash took place at around 9:15 p.m. on State Highway 94 near Loop 287.
Initial reports indicate a 2019 Yamaha motorbike was headed west. At the same time, an early 2000 model black Chevrolet with a lift kit, failed to yield to the motorcycle and pulled from a private drive into the motorcycle’s path.
As a result, the motorcycle was run over by the black Chevrolet. The driver then fled the scene by car and was last seen turning south on Loop 287.
The injured motorcyclist was taken to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
