A 6-year-old child was injured in a pedestrian crash while trying to catch the school bus in Killeen on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
The accident happened on a Tuesday morning at Greenlee Drive near Edgewood Drive.
After the crash, the girl became conscious and was taken to the hospital. The child’s condition was listed as stable.
According to preliminary reports, the girl ran out into the street as the school bus approached its bus stop and was hit by a Dodge Pickup. The identity of the injured victim has yet to be disclosed.
Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
