[12-08-2021] Bexar County, TX – One Woman Injured After Crash on Loop 410

One unidentified woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio on early Wednesday morning, December 8, 2021.

The crash happened at about 2:00 a.m. near the San Pedro Avenue exit on the city’s North Side.

According to San Antonio police, there was a collision between two vehicles on Loop 410 in the main lanes. A female driver reportedly crashed her car near the San Pedro exit.

Authorities said the other vehicle’s driver involved in the collision was not injured.

It took firefighters a long time to open the woman’s door before they eventually rescued her. Officials reported she suffered only a bump on the head.

Police detained the woman at the scene and have not ruled out the possibility that she was intoxicated at the time of the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
