One pedestrian lost his life in a fatal auto-pedestrian accident in Hunt County on Thursday morning, December 9, 2021.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Kyle Bradford, the crash transpired at approximately 4:40 a.m. at State Highway 276.
Highway Patrol Troopers were dispatched to a major crash on State Highway 276 involving a pedestrian.
According to Bradford’s preliminary investigation, a black Ford F-250 was traveling eastbound on the highway while a pedestrian was standing in the eastbound lane.
Bradford then stated that the pickup truck was unable to take evasive action and struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. On the other hand, the pickup driver was reportedly unharmed.
Local authorities have yet to disclose the identity of the deceased person.
The officials stated that the investigation is still ongoing and that no further information is available at this time.
