Two people involved in the four-vehicle accident believed to have been caused by a medical issue in Copperas Cove were injured on Saturday morning, December 11, 2021.

According to Copperas Cove Police, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 9:36 a.m. in the 1300 block of E Avenue D.
One of the vehicles involved in the accident went off the road after crashing into the Creative Cakes and Snacks building. There is no indication that the truck driver had a medical emergency when they drove into the store, according to the police.
Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. The identities of the victims are unknown.
There were no injuries at Creative Cakes and Snacks.
Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
