[12-11-2021] Harris County, TX – Auto-Pedestrian Collision in Southwest Houston Kills One Person

One pedestrian was killed after getting struck by a vehicle on the Sam Houston Tollway on Saturday, December 11, 2021.

The fatal accident happened around 11:10 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Beechnut.

Authorities quickly arrived on the scene and discovered the pedestrian dead.

The driver who hit the person, on the other hand, is said to have remained at the scene.

During the investigation, southbound traffic was rerouted for more than two hours.
