One 36-year-old San Angelo resident identified as Micah Deshon J. was killed in a two-vehicle crash between Wall and San Angelo on Saturday night, December 11, 2021.
The fatal collision transpired at approximately 11:06 p.m. in the area of Wall and San Angelo.
According to Sergeant Justin Baker of the Texas Department of Public Safety, the driver of a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria turned onto U.S. 87 one mile west of Wall on his way to San Angelo.
21-year-old Emily M., of San Angelo, was driving a 2007 Honda Fit northbound on U.S. 87 at the same time.
The 36-year-old Ford driver of San Angelo turned the vehicle around in front of the Honda on the highway for an unknown reason. The Honda then collided with the Ford’s driver’s side.
The 36-year-old driver was killed in the crash, and Justice of the Peace J.P. McGuire pronounced him dead at the scene.
The Honda driver was taken by ambulance from the scene of the accident to Shannon Medical Center, where she was treated and released with non-life-threatening injuries.
The deceased driver was not restrained by her seatbelt. On the other hand, the driver of the Honda was restrained by her seatbelt.
