[12-13-2021] Bexar County, TX – Sedan Driver Hospitalized Following Major Crash on City’s East Side

One unidentified person was injured and pinned inside a vehicle after a two-vehicle crash on the city’s East Side on Sunday, December 13, 2021.

The crash occurred around 1:43 a.m. at the 1400 block of North Pine Street.

According to the police, a maroon sedan slammed into a white sedan that was stopped at the intersection.

The driver of the maroon sedan was trapped inside the vehicle, and firefighters had to cut him out with the ‘jaws of life.’ Officials further stated that the driver was rushed to SAMMC and is in stable condition.

EMS checked the other driver and released him on the scene.
