One unidentified person was killed in a pedestrian crash in North Austin on Tuesday, December 14.
The crash happened around 7:37 p.m. at 15200 North I-35 southbound, near Cheddar Loop Road.
Multiple 9-1-1 calls to Austin-Travis County EMS reported that a person had been struck by a vehicle on the highway.
They declared the victim dead when they arrived. While crews work on the scene, southbound I-35 at Grand Avenue Parkway will be closed for several hours.
Once the deceased’s next of kin has been notified, the deceased’s identity will be revealed. There are no other details available.
Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
