One man was killed after getting hit several times in a hit-and-run crash along East Side Highway on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
The fatal hit-and-run accident transpired at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Interstate 10 access road and Foster Road.
According to the preliminary report, the victim was discovered in the road by a crew of street sweepers. Officials said he had been struck several times, but none of the drivers stopped to help the victim.
Officers are interviewing witnesses in an attempt to determine who struck the man. While crews worked on the scene, the eastbound access road was closed for several hours.
