One unidentified man was critically injured after a pedestrian crash in front of the SAWS Eastside Operations Center on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
The pedestrian crash happened around 6:30 a.m. at the center of E. Houston Street near E. Commerce Street.
Witnesses told police they saw a man walking in the middle of the dark road when a Chevrolet Tahoe struck him.
The driver immediately came to a halt and attempted to assist the victim. With critical and life-threatening injuries, the man was rushed to the hospital.
The identity of the pedestrian who was injured has not been revealed. No charges have also been filed at the moment. An investigation is currently underway.
