According to the Rains County Sheriff’s Office, one woman ran under a tanker truck and escaped with minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Rains County on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
The accident occurred around 8:47 a.m. on Hwy 69E, west of Alba.
According to officials, the tanker driver’s wife was following behind her husband when the accident occurred, witnessed the crash, and called it in.
Officials reported that a 2016 4-door silver Ford pulled out of a side street and ran under a tanker.
The identities of the people involved have yet to be disclosed.
The Ford’s roof caved in as a result of the collision, and that if it had gone six inches further, the driver would have died. Her only injury was a minor cut on her hand.
