One person was killed in a motorcycle crash in east El Paso on Saturday, December 25, 2021.
The fatal crash happened around 4:45 pm at George Dieter and Rexel.
A woman was reportedly driving a car struck and killed a motorcyclist before fleeing the scene, police said on Sunday.
The police in El Paso have identified the victim as 24-year-old Laramie Fowler from the city’s north side.
Investigators believe the motorcyclist laid down his bike when the car turned in front of him to avoid the vehicle, and the unknown vehicle struck the motorcyclist as he was sliding on the roadway.
According to a police report, the female exited her vehicle, walked around her car, and then fled the location.
Authorities described the fleeing female as being dressed in a green sweater and operating a dark-colored car.
