Marcus H., 22, and Jerry C., 66, were both killed in a two-vehicle crash in Gaines County on Monday, December 27, 2021.
The collision happened at 8:42 a.m. near the intersection of County Roads 205 and 206.
Both victims were both Seminole residents when they were killed. They were both wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
According to the preliminary investigation, the vehicle they were in was traveling northbound on CR 205 when the second vehicle, driven by 29-year-old Omar O., was traveling eastbound on CR 206.
The first vehicle failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign, causing the second vehicle, which was towing a trailer, to collide with the first.
During the accident, the 29-year-old driver was unharmed.
Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
