An 18-year-old female student was injured in an accident in Killeen on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
The crash occurred around 8:18 a.m. in the area of Elms Road and Florence Road, according to the Killeen Police Department spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez.
When the police arrived, they discovered that a black Volkswagen traveling eastbound in the inside lane struck the victim attempting to cross E Elms Road from the north side of the roadway to the south side.
The driver of the Volkswagen was reportedly uninjured. Local authorities are still investigating the accident.
