A 38-year-old woman identified as Kristin C. was seriously hurt after a multi-vehicle collision at an intersection in Brazoria on Sunday afternoon, September 5.
According to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash happened at the intersection of Highway 36 and County Road 354 at around 3:55 p.m. A southbound 2009 Nissan Altima was exiting CR 354, and it made a right turn onto Highway 36, where it collided with a southbound 2019 GMC Sierra.
Due to the severity of the impact, both vehicles were pushed into the northbound lanes, where they crashed into a 2000 GMC Sierra and a 2004 Ford F-150. The 38-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
She’s now in a stable condition. No other injuries were reported. Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the collision.
