[10-15-2021] Collin County, TX – Bicycle Crash in Frisco Seriously Injures One Person

A 14-year-old boy was seriously injured after a major bicycle crash in Frisco on Friday afternoon, October 15.

The crash took place at the Independence Parkway and Sumac Lane Intersection in Frisco at around 4:00 p.m.

The young boy was riding his bicycle northbound when he crashed into a Ford pickup truck while crossing the street.

The young bicyclist sustained life-threatening injuries from the mishap and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
