Two people were killed after a fatal wrong-way traffic collision in Grand Prairie on Saturday morning, August 14.
The deadly collision transpired at approximately 3:15 a.m. in the 4400 blocks of the freeway on TEXpress lane on I-30 in Grand Prairie.
An eastbound vehicle collided head-on with an eastbound pickup truck that was traveling in the wrong direction. It’s unclear why the pickup truck was driving in the wrong lanes.
Both of the drivers were killed in the collision. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been disclosed.
There were no other passengers in both vehicles at the time of the accident. It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Local authorities are actively investigating the cause of the collision.
