An unidentified person was killed after a fatal pedestrian crash in Sugar Land on early Thursday morning, October 7.
According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on Grand Parkway, in the area of West Riveraprk in Sugar Land.
The pedestrian was attempting to cross Grand Parkway when they were suddenly struck by a passing truck. The victim was in the middle of a feeder road to Grand Parkway at the time of the accident.
The driver of the truck failed to stop to render aid and drove away from the scene. Meanwhile, the pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
