[10-19-2021] Freestone County, TX – One Bicyclist Killed in a Hit-and-Run Collision in Fairfield

One unidentified adult bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene in Fairfield on October 19, Tuesday.

The hit-and-run incident happened around 7:00 P.M. in the area of North Texas and Wisconsin streets.

The suspect did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. Local authorities are currently actively pursuing the hit-and-run driver.

Details about the suspect and his vehicle remain under investigation, according to Fairfield Police.
