An unidentified woman was seriously hurt after getting struck by a Houston police officer in Houston on early Sunday morning, September 19.
The fatal collision transpired at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Washington Avenue at Studemont in Houston.
An officer from the Houston Police Department was traveling westbound on Washington Avenue when an eastbound BMW suddenly turned left directly in front of the police vehicle.
The officer then reportedly attempted to avoid the BMW by slamming on the brakes. Unfortunately, he struck a woman that was riding a motorcycle behind the BMW.
The woman riding the motorcycle was rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries. She’s now in a stable condition. No arrests have been made at the moment. An active investigation of the accident is currently underway.
