An unidentified homeless man was killed after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver in Houston on Monday morning, August 16.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:10 a.m. in the 1800 block of Hopper Road near Exeter Street in Houston. The homeless man was walking along the roadway when he was suddenly struck by a westbound tan Lincoln vehicle.
The driver that struck the homeless did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. The vehicle’s plate number reportedly fell off, but it was expired and did not provide any helpful details to help authorities locate the driver. The homeless man sustained serious injuries in the mishap. He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
He was described to be someone around his 40’s to 50’s. The identity of the homeless man has not been disclosed. Additional information about the crash is unavailable at the moment.
