According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, a 59-year-old woman died after a two-vehicle collision in Atascocita on Friday, June 17, 2022.
The crash occurred Friday afternoon in the 19300 block of West Lake Houston Parkway near FM 1960 in northeast Harris County.
There were no immediate details on what caused the crash. The 59-year-old was taken to a local hospital, where she later passed away, according to Sheriff Gonzalez.
According to Sheriff Gonzalez, the woman, who was operating a white Honda Civic, was struck by a BMW that was moving in the opposite direction as she was leaving a private driveway. Gonzalez claimed that the BMW driver struck a Jeep in addition to the woman’s Honda.
To ascertain whether any charges will be brought, investigators are working.
Investigations into the collision are ongoing.
