One unidentified person was killed after a fatal motorcycle accident in U.S. 69 on Saturday night, August 28.
According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened on U.S. Highway 69 at Hunt County Road 1058 at approximately 8:35 p.m.
A custom-built motorcycle was driving south on U.S. Highway 69 when it came to an abrupt stop before making a curve but was struck from behind by an Infinity SUV.
The motorcycle rider sustained fatal injuries in the crash. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with local authorities. He did not sustain any injuries.
It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. An active investigation of the case is currently underway.
