One unidentified person was killed after a deadly motorcycle crash in Kemp on Sunday morning, September 4.
The deadly collision occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. at Farm Road 1391 and County Road 4016A. A Kia Forte car and a Suzuki motorcycle were both traveling westbound on Farm Road 1391 when the Kia slowed down to turn left onto County Road 4016A.
The Suzuki motorcycle traveling behind the Kia then attempted to pass it as the vehicle turned left. Unfortunately, the Suzuki motorcycle ended up hitting the Kia. The motorcycle rider sustained fatal injuries in the mishap. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Kia driver was uninjured in the accident. He remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. The case is currently under further investigation.
