On September 23, around 2:56 p.m., a crash occurred on S Loop 289 near University Avenue.
A two-vehicle collision occurred in the westbound lanes of S Loop 289, according to the Lubbock police report.
The accident resulted in the serious injury of one person. Two other persons were injured,
The collision caused traffic to back up on S Loop 289, but the scene was cleared by 3:38 p.m.
