Two people were killed after a deadly head-on collision in Perryton on Saturday night, September 18.
According to the initial reports from local authorities, the deadly collision happened on State Highway 15 at approximately 10:45 p.m. An eastbound Ford F-150 pickup truck traveled in the wrong lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming eastbound 2004 Chevrolet 2500 Silverado pickup truck.
Due to the severity of the impact, both of the vehicles caught fire. Bot of the drivers was killed in the mishap. The two drivers were identified as 26-year-old Cody Sanders and 57-year-old Jeffrey P. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Local authorities suspect that alcohol may have played a role in the crash. Information about the accident is limited, but an ongoing investigation of the case is currently underway.
