According to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash transpired at around 4:23 a.m. on Interstate 35 near Oltorf Street.
Two 18-wheelers collided on the freeway for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.
One of the drivers sustained unspecified injuries in the crash and was immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment.
