Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision Statistics
In Texas, anyone can be killed in a car accident at any time. Numerous fatal automobile accidents have occurred in densely populated urban areas such as Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, Texas.
Texas is the world’s largest state in terms of both population and road length. It is home to some of the busiest highways in the country. In Texas, over 3,500 people have been killed and 246,000 have been injured in traffic accidents. This location was the scene of a fatal multi-vehicle collision.
When three or more automobiles collide on the road, a multi-vehicle accident occurs. When one car collides with another, causing that vehicle to collide with the next, a “chain reaction” occurs.
