Two unidentified people were hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash in Wichita Falls on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.

The accident happened on a Wednesday morning near the intersection of U.S. 287 North and Business 287, near Coyote Ranch Resort on the opposite side of the highway.
It appears that traffic is severely cluttered, and officials are directing drivers to take the Business 287 detour instead.
Units from the Henrietta Volunteer Fire Department, the Jolly Volunteer Fire Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Department of Transportation, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Medic 1, Emergency Management, and AMR all responded to the crash, according to department officials.
A Texas DPS official told our crew on the scene that AMR had taken two people to the hospital. At this point, we don’t know how they’re doing.
Local authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
